GeoBeatは、現在地またはユーザーが指定した場所に合わせてApple Musicの楽曲を探すアプリです。本ポリシーは、GeoBeatにおける情報の取り扱いを説明します。
収集する情報
GeoBeatは独自のアカウントを提供しません。曲の投稿と不適切な選曲の報告には、端末でiCloudにサインインしている必要があります。
- 位置情報: 現在地に合った地域名を判定し、楽曲検索に使います。曲を投稿しない限り、GeoBeatのCloudKitデータベースには保存しません。
- シミュレートした場所: ユーザーが地図上で選んだ場所を、その場所での楽曲検索に使います。
- Apple Musicへのアクセス: Apple Musicのカタログ検索、再生、Apple Musicアプリで開く操作に利用します。
- 投稿内容: 選んだ曲の識別子、曲名、アーティスト名、Apple MusicのURL、場所の名称、おおよその座標、任意で入力した場所との関係、投稿日時を保存します。座標は小数点以下2桁に丸め、正確な現在地は保存しません。
- 不適切な選曲の報告: 対象の投稿、報告理由、報告日時を保存します。
- CloudKitのシステム情報: Apple CloudKitは、レコードの作成者を区別する内部ユーザーIDや作成日時などのメタデータを自動的に関連付けます。GeoBeatは氏名、メールアドレス、実際のApple IDを取得しません。
情報の利用目的
位置情報や選択した場所は、その地域に関連する音楽を探すために利用します。投稿内容は公開前の審査、承認された曲の提供、不適切な投稿への対応に利用します。GeoBeatは、これらの情報を広告、ユーザー追跡、第三者への販売に利用しません。
外部サービス
GeoBeatは、AppleのCore Location、MapKit、MusicKit、Apple Music、CloudKitを利用します。住所の確認、地図表示、楽曲検索、再生、投稿の保存などの処理において、Appleのサービスへ情報が送信される場合があります。Appleによる情報の取り扱いは、Appleのプライバシーポリシーに従います。
保存、公開、保持期間
投稿内容と報告は、Apple CloudKitのGeoBeat用Public Databaseに保存されます。投稿は運営による審査で承認された場合に限り、登録地点から約1km以内のGeoBeat利用者へ表示されます。検索履歴と再生履歴は保存しません。また、第三者の広告SDKや独自の分析SDKは組み込んでいません。
投稿と報告は、サービスの提供、審査、不正利用への対応に必要な期間保持します。削除を希望する場合は、下記サポートページから対象の曲と場所をお知らせください。公開の問い合わせには個人情報を書き込まないでください。
本ポリシーの変更
機能や情報の取り扱いを変更した場合、本ページを更新し、必要に応じてアプリ内またはApp Store上でお知らせします。

GeoBeat recommends Apple Music songs based on your current location or a place you choose on the map. This policy explains how GeoBeat handles information.
Information We Use
GeoBeat does not provide its own account system. You must be signed in to iCloud on your device to submit a song or report an inappropriate community pick.
- Location: Used to identify the relevant area and search for music related to that place. GeoBeat does not store it in its CloudKit database unless you submit a song.
- Simulated location: Used when you choose a place on the map to try music for that area.
- Apple Music access: Used to search the Apple Music catalog, play songs, and open songs in Apple Music.
- Contributions: GeoBeat stores the selected song identifier, title, artist, Apple Music URL, place name, approximate coordinates, optional note about the place, and submission date. Coordinates are rounded to two decimal places; the precise current location is not stored.
- Reports: GeoBeat stores the reported contribution, report reason, and report date.
- CloudKit system information: Apple CloudKit automatically associates metadata such as an internal user identifier for the record creator and creation timestamps. GeoBeat does not receive your name, email address, or actual Apple ID.
How Information Is Used
Location and selected places are used to recommend music for the relevant area. Contributions are used for pre-publication review, delivery of approved picks, and responses to inappropriate content. GeoBeat does not use this information for advertising, tracking, or sale to third parties.
External Services
GeoBeat uses Apple's Core Location, MapKit, MusicKit, Apple Music, and CloudKit services. Information may be sent to Apple for address lookup, map display, catalog search, playback, and contribution storage. Apple's handling of information is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Storage, Publication, and Retention
Contributions and reports are stored in GeoBeat's public database on Apple CloudKit. A contribution is shown to GeoBeat users within approximately 1 km of the registered place only after operator approval. GeoBeat does not store search history or playback history and does not include third-party advertising or custom analytics SDKs.
Contributions and reports are retained as long as needed to operate the service, moderate content, and address abuse. To request removal, identify the song and place through the support page below. Do not include personal information in a public support request.
Changes to This Policy
If GeoBeat changes its features or data practices, this page will be updated and notice will be provided in the app or on the App Store when appropriate.
